I have lots of interesting goodies to add to this page - please be patient whilst it is under construction

June 2008 - still got works to add to this page..............

Always happy to reply to your emails       thejaxcollection@gmail.com

Lower down the page I have a space for links.  If you would like your link to be added please email your website address.  I would like to keep to certain themes.

These lovely little footstalls have been a constant pleasure - I have them in my sitting room - would be happy to create the tops but you would have to organise your own footstool, upholstery etc.

Did lots of Bow-Ties - please email for others to look at.

Selection of Tea Cosies

1991 - I created this denim work as a single bed cover - it ended up being used as a rug - I still have it!

Denim bedspread commission - 1991

I created this "Tea Pot" quilt using large rectangles of white polyester cotton and painting tea pots on it using acryllic paints.  I then joined them together with some black and white gingham - I also appliqued some other unfinished projects onto it - machining through the three layers - top, wadding and back.  It has been crudely quilted - the result is quirky, fun and great to snuggle into.  I have machine washed it many many times.

just a little more detail.  Its a real great fun quilt that is really used and loved.

I created this "modrian" design years ago - just found it in my ottoman!  deserved to be displayed I think!

Again - found this in the ottoman - lovely log cabin machine sewn bed throw - its huge covers a large double bed - I made it out of small pieces of fabric that I collected over the years

The back is almost nicer - made of large fabric samples collected over the years - has almost a porcelain appearance - and I am not sure that I prefer it!

Got to include this one - its a childs waistcoat - so so pretty horses and clematis leaves - I doubt it will ever been worn but it looks great hung on the wall - very lovely piece.
